PIR Motion Sensor

Passive Infrared (PIR) Based Motion Detector (called a PID) protects space by 'looking' for changes in infrared (heat) energy levels caused by movement of an intruder.

Motion detectors can be installed for a variety of purposes. Door announcers use motion sensors to alert home owners of the presence of visitors. Yard alarms can detect motion to trigger video surveillance or lighting.
