The POE2401P is a 24CH fast Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch which has twenty four 10/100BaseTX ports, and with additional two Gigabit (TP/SFP Combo)RJ45 ports for NVR and network connections. The POE2401P is developed to meet the needs of medium or large network environments which require implementation of PoE technology to minimize installation cost and increase the flexibility and efficiency. This PoE switch supports IEE802.3at PoE standard, each port can provide 15.4 watts. It built-in with 400 watts power supply and with advanced power surge protection, short-circuit protection, and indicators on the rear panel to display real-time status of each ports, also the working status of switch.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology can transmit the electrical power over single Ethernet cable, and it integrates 48V direct current (DC) power, eliminating the need to have extra power cable for end IP devices. With help of PoE technology, the connection between IP camera becomes much easier. The PoE switch can support Cat5 cable for both data and power transmission. It conforms of IEEE 802.3af standard to work with any kinds of PoE cameras, or wireless access points, VOIP phones...etc.
