Single Beam Infrared Beam Interruption Sensor
Active infrared beam interruption sensor, or photoelectric sensors, which utilize the infrared wave to detect the interruption. This is single beam active infrared beam sensor which is widely used in many security solutions. This model has egg sharp aesthetic design, mini size for less intrusive installation, and using the condense lens, it can guard up to 45 feet distance.
This model consist of IR transmitter, and IR receiver each, the working principle is very simple - a IR transmitter will emit invisible infrared beam to IR receiver without interruption. Once beam is interrupted, the sensor ((IR receiver) will send out alarm signal.
VSO-15B is universal single beam active infrared (AIR) sensor, which has standard NC/NO relay output. The relay output can enable this system to be integrated into different applications including alarm system, access control, DVR system, IP cameras.
Main features
Please note that the distance between transmitter and receiver should be not less than 2 meters. Infrared sensor should be wall mounted vertically and in the same parallel position. You need to install the receiver first, then the transmitter. When both of them are in same parallel position, the alignment LED on receiver will turn OFF.
