Comparing wide angle PIR motion sensor, the curtain PIR detectors are designed to protect entry-points such as doors, windows and corridors. The name “Curtain” derives from its working theory - when it works, it will create an virtual curtain detection area. Once unwanted people enter/cross this virtual curtain area, a motion alarm will be triggered. It’s a beautiful design device adopts mini size, it’s miniature and cannot be easily discovered by intruders.

Our curtain PIR motion sensor has the capability to recognize direction of moving people. It only triggers alarm when people enter monitored area from outside, people moving inside will not generate an alarm. This enables it to filter false alarms effectively and becomes the best suitable detector for interior intrusion detection purpose. Furthermore, it has tamper switch design can generate an alarm when encountering vandalism.

The detector is a hardwired security sensor with normal close relay output. It’s able to work with your existing or new hardwired alarm panels/controllers. It should be noted that when wiring the detector to your hardwired alarm system, you should connect EOL resistor on detector’s side. This can supervise wiring, so that when intruders cut cable, an alarm will be triggered immediately.
