AHD Solution 720p/1080p Camera Module
AHD stands for analog high definition. Generally, we call cameras that deliver horizontal resolution up to 720p as High Definition (HD). The HD including several different resolution formats, they are 1080i, 720P, 1080P. 1080i60 stands 1920x1080, adopts interlaced scan, 30 frames per second; 720P60 means resolution reaches 1280x720, adopting progressive scan, 60 frames per second; 1080P60 means resolution reaches up to 1920x1080, adopting progressive scan, 60 frames per second. AHD is based on AHD standard which developed by Korean chipset manufacturer - NextChip.
Similar to traditional CCTV equipment, AHD camera can deliver uncompressed HD video over Cat75-3 coaxial cable, and transmission distance is up to 500 meters. This technology breakthrough the current HD video transmission limitation, can achieve low-cost, long range, no video latency, high-efficient megapixel resolution video transmission. In last year's Beijing Security Expo, Nextchip exhibited the AHD2.0 which is based on its predecessor AHD1.0. For front end camera, AHD2.0 TX supports 1080P@30fps video output, supports BT656/TB1120D input; while AHD2.0 RX input supports AHD1.0/AHD2.0/CVBS, provides 4 bt656 ports, to support hybrid resolution, as well as achieve 500 meters long range transmission over coaxial cable. Adopts AHD2.0 can achieve hybrid DVR solution which supports different resolution, and the DVR is able to automatically detect different video resolution, can connect with 1080P, 720P, 960H analog cameras.
