The internal structure of wireless reed switch

The wireless reed switch consists of three vital parts: Reed switch (high quality reed switch can extend the service life of wireless magnetic contact), Wireless RF transmitter, Battery contact spring.

Wireless reed switch working principle

A reed switch works by having two magnetic wires (reeds) in a glass tube that are either in an off or on position when at rest. Then a magnetic source is introduced to either make the reeds come together (to connect the current) or separate (to stop the current). When the reeds come together or separate, it will send a signal to encoding chip (IC) which generate a unique communication data (encoding), convey it to wireless RF transmitter and emit the RF for wireless connection.

Different security manufacturers provide different wireless reed switches with varies of shapes, and different encoding technology, also working in different wireless frequency. Low cost wireless reed switch with smart function

Our model: VS-OWMC, this is a door sensor in G60-Ultimate alarm kit. It's adopted with new design, comes with extra panic button design on it. The wireless transmitter part with removable bracket, easy for installation, coming with 3M adhesive sticker for easy installation, reserved with holes for screws installation. Different from other sensors, this sensor is operated by the AA size battery (1.5V), which can be bought from local drug store in anywhere. Our model: VS-PWMC, wireless reed switch with smart function. Different from other reed switches, this door sensor is operated by rechargeable battery (Lithium-ion, 3.7V 200mA).
