Disassemble Dahua CCTV Camera CA-FW191I 1.3Mega HDIS 800TVL

Introducing the Dahua CA-FW191I HD analog camera which adopts latest Aptina0130 1/3" progressive scan CMOS image sensor (1.3 megapixel HDIS) to deliver high resolution of 800TVL [1280(H)x960(V), equal 960P IP Camera]. This camera is based on Fullhan 8520 DSP with features of Digital wide dynamic range (DWDR), 2D+3D digital noise reduction. This camera can deliver crystal images without video latency. By the way, it supports UTC function, user can control the menu over coaxial cable. CA-FW191I is equipped with 2.7~9mm motorized zoom lens.

Similar to other Dahua's analog cameras, CA-FW191I has built-in two high efficient infrared illuminators to help camera see at night. The IR range reaches up to 50 meters, and built-in smart IR feature to avoid IR-saturation. This is weatherproof IP66 rated design IP camera, it's suitable for both indoor and outdoor video surveillance.

Dahua Dahua CA-FW191I 800TVL Camera adopts all-in-one housing design, this camera overall appearance is simple and elegant, matches its smooth structure, it's a really beautiful camera, but the housing material is engineering plastic, the upper design has a sun/rain shield, which is used to prevent direct sun-light when camera working outdoor.

We continued disassembling the front window of security camera, unscrewed the front screws to open this camera, all screws has water seals to prevent water ingress. From this detail, we realized that this camera definitely can work outdoor properly.

After disassembled the front cover, we could see the internal design, including the infrared illuminators board, and a group of +0100 IR-CUT filter between lens and HDIS board. On the illuminators board, it has two high power infrared illuminators, and IR control circuit design, the overall camera adopts modularization construction design, which is convenient for assembling and repairing.

The motorized lens is the main feature for this camera. When we continued disassembling this camera, we could see the whole structure of lens. The lens has one step-motor for optical zoom, and it firmly attached to board, all wires use plug-gable connectors to connect each other, easy to repair. By the way, the board adopts dual layers structure, this design can prevent digital noise, isolated image conversion from signal processing, greatly improved the reliability and performance of its working.

In final disassembling, we could find its image sensor, this camera utilizes Aptina 0130 1/3 progressive scan CMOS image sensor, matches Fullhan 8520 DSP chip-set to provide maximum horizontal resolution 800TVL.
