Introduce Uniview 4K IP camera HIC5681-L

Summary: Uniview HIC5681-L is a ultra high definition 4K resolution (8 megapixel) IP camera, in addition to its extraordinary performance on image resolution, the camera features other advantages including stable bit rate control (bandwidth), vivid color reproduction, greyscale, electric/optical defog, these functions greatly increased its overall performance.  This camera is equipped with a 1/2.3 inch progressive scan 8 megapixel CMOS image sensor to provide 4K(aka Ultra High Definition) has over eight million pixels (3840 x 2160).

Today, we are going to introduce you the HIC5681-L which is a first 4K IP camera from Uniview. From its structure design, the camera adopts black and white color match, delicate design. The body adopts metal material which enables camera to provide reliable performance with good heat ventilation. 

Mounting screw holes design on both up and bottom of housing, this allows camera to be installed easily with different installation brackets. The looks of IP camera is simple and elegant.

Uniview HIC5681-L 4K has rich interface includes Power ON/OFF indicator, Network Indicator, Audio I/O, Power Input (DC 12V, AC 24V), SFP Fiber port, RJ45 (support PoE), Alarm I/O, RS485, RESET button, TF MicroSD Card Slot (maximum support 64GB video edge storage).

Ultra high definition

This camera owns excellent performance on color reproduction and recognizable greyscale. It can provide accurate color reproduction when we make it aim to a color test card. During the 20 grades greyscale testing, the camera can provide 18 grades recognizable greyscale, quite impressive.

The camera aims to outside street, thanks to its 4K ultra high definition, the images resolution is quite excellent, trees and grass beside the road are clear, even you can see the facial details from pedestrians.

Then, use the bitrate software to measure its bitrate, after a long time running, we find that its bitrate control performance is excellent, the average bitrate can be controlled on 8.2Mbps. Let's take a look at its 4K high definition performance, in real test image, its horizontal resolution can reach 1950TVL, and vertical resolution can reach 1850TVL.

With purpose to explain 4K's advantage, we let a 1080P HD camera aims to same scene with same optical zoom, then screenshot to do comparison. In 100% ratio display condition, we find that 4K IP camera's snapshot can provide much clearer details than snapshot from the 1080P IP camera, also 4K's view angle is much wider than 1080P IP camera. 

Dual defog function

On defog function, this camera inherits the tradition of Uniview's HIC5600 series IP camera, support digital and optical dual defog technology. The former mainly used in thin fog weather condition, the later used in heavy fog weather condition.

Excellent Low Illumination

We put the camera into a dark box to simulate low illumination environment. Thanks to its AGC (Auto Gain Control), the images only emerge slight image noises when Lux decreased to 3.06Lux. Although there is a motion blur, but the image quality and color stay excellent.

In 1.45Lux, the camera switches to B/W mode, the images become clean, motion blur also disappears. Until the Illuminometer displays 0.00Lux, the doll's facial features, characters on background and doll's hair and dress...etc these details are still clear and recognizable; then we set it to color mode, when illuminometer displays 0.00Lux, the images emerge many image noises, color delice seriously, but the outline of the objects can still be easily identified.
