PIR + Microwave Dual Technology Intrusion Detector for Burglar Alarm System
PIR motion detector can detect presence of movement by detecting changes of Infrared energy. The detector has been widely used in burglar alarm and automation system. Here we introduce you the Dual-technology motion detector that integrated with both PIR and microwave. ED690 is a dual-tech motion sensor designed for intrusion detection of security applications. PIR + microwave dual-technology enables this detector to offer accurate motion detection, it has alarm outputs (normal close, normal open) to work with different controllers.
Unlike similar products in market, ED690 supports multiple motion detection through separate sensors; the built-in PIR motion sensorcan detect changes of infrared energy, the microwave sensor can continuously emit signals and detect the changes of reflected microwave signal. ED690 has a Single chip microcomputer (MCU) as the brain of the detector, it has embedded with advanced signal processing algorithm. The detector only triggers alarm when all conditions are met.
Comparing with other dual-tech motion sensor, ED690 has true temperature compensation design, it includes a temperature sensor that measuring the room temperature and prevent PIR motion sensor from false detection which caused by rapid temperature changes of environment. Additionally, intending to work in different environment, the detector supports pulse count adjustment for PIR motion sensor and microwave sensitivity adjustment.
ED690 is a high quality motion detection detector, supports power input protection, voltage surge protection, all these designs ensure the detector can provide reliable performance. It has LED indicator to show its working status, for discreet installation, users can turn off the LED indicator by adjust the position of jumpers. The detector works with power input voltage DC12V, normal close and normal open alarm output adjustable, it can be connected to burglar alarm panels, IP surveillance DVR/NVR, access control…and more different security systems.
