Our standalone DVR are compatible with remote view via iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile…etc through 3G networks. Before you access DVR via a mobile phone, you must check that the standalone DVR with the proper network setting, has opened extra stream, and port forwarded.

Majority of standalone digital video recorder with built-in virtual server, after connect the standalone digital video recorder to local Lan network, you must config the DVR and router correctly. Herein we provide tutorial on how to config the network for Chinese made standalone DVR.

Step 1: Find the correct setting for your network. This step help you to find the IP address and subnet address, as well as DNS address for your network, and it will help your DVR communicate with your local router.

Before setup network for standalone DVR, please read following checklist

• The DVR and Computer need to connect to the same router.
• The Router may need to connect Internet, so that can remote view.
• Use the IE browser 7, IE8 or greater version.
