CO & Smoke combination detector alarm

This is DC3V battery operated ( 2×1.5V AA alkaline batteries) standalone fire alarm. VS-CO200 combines with smoke detection and carbon monoxide together for accurate fire alarm detection. When the detector is triggered, it can make sound and flash for announcement. This detector can generate voice alarm when it detects fire, carbon monoxide, low battery or hush activation. It's widely used for fire protection to both residence and business. The AA batteries can protect your you and your property even during a power outage.

This fire alarm is based on Photoelectric sensing principle, high sensitivity (0.16dB/m(±0.05dB/M)) ensure the sensor can detect the early smoke of a fire. Photoelectric-sensing technology may detect visible particles (associated with smoldering fires) sooner than ionization alarms.

It utilizes the carbon monoxide sensor for accurate CO detection, and when the CO density reach to 150PPM±50PPM, the alarm will be triggered.

Besides suitable for early warning and protection of carbon monoxide leakages in houses, villas, factories, shopping malls, warehouses, office buildings etc. indoor places, this unit has a subtle shockproof design, which makes it also suitable for vehicle use.

Low Battery: With included batteries, this combo detector can provide you three years service life. When the batteries run out, the Red LED light will flash every minute for the first hour. After the first hour, the red LED light will flash once every minute and will be accompanied by the chirp sound. The low-battery warning will only sound once every 15 minutes.

Hush Activation: By pressing the hush button, you can easily and safely silence nuisance alarms caused by non-emergency situations, such as overcooked dinners.

When alarm is triggered, short press the Hush button, the detector goes into mute status. This Red LED light keeps flashing while the buzzer will stop sounding. If the alarm status hasn't been reset, the mute status will end automatically in 10 minutes later. The buzzer sounds again. If the alarm status is reset during the 10 minutes, the detector recovers to normal working status.

Regularly test: This detector should be tested periodically after installation. Short press HUSH button to run a test, the alarm will be triggered. Smoke alarm indication and carbon monoxide alarm indication will be tested in sequence. First is smoke alarm indication: slow Di-Di-Di... audio buzzer sound along with the LED flashing red at the same frequency, lasting for about 8s. Then comes the carbon monoxide alarm indication: short DiDiDiDi... audio along with the LED flashing red at the same frequency, lasting for 8s. For saving the battery life, testing once per month is recommended.
