Full HD 1080p Smart Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera
D1201-AE is a high quality but low cost Full HD 1080p pan & tilt WiFI camera. The camera leverages a 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor (SmartSens SC2135) to deliver excellent image quality video with resolution up to 1920x1080. This product provides the exact same functions with the D1201-A. However, it’s the upgraded product based on new Grain Media GM8136S SoC + SmartSens SC2135 CMOS sensor hardware design.
In addition to offering superior image quality, the D1201-AE supports 355 degree pan rotation and 120 degree tilt rotation. It’s equipped with a wide angle 2-megapixel 3.6mm lens to provide wide viewing angle. Simply touching the video on smartphone, you can rotate the camera to any angle. Moreover, the camera support smart preset function, users can program five different preset positions to monitor some key spots in your house. Preset position function also can integrated with wireless security detectors. Once the wireless security detector is triggered, the camera will automatically rotate to the specific preset position. This smart function helps you keep track of what's happening in house anywhere, anytime.
D1201-AE supports both LAN and WiFi connection. By employing the latest P2P technology, the camera can easily connect to Internet for video streaming. Download and install the “CoT Pro” App on your smartphone, you can watch live video instantly, no DDNS and port forward configuration required. It also comes with Free CMSClient software allows manage up to 64 sets of cameras simultaneously on PC. Being compliant with ONVIF (version 2.4; Profile S) standard, the camera can work with third-party NVRs & VMS. It also supports RTSP protocol for easy integration between different security systems.
D1201-AE has the TF card slot built-in, it can use up to 32GB TF card for video and snapshot storage. The camera supports 24 hours, scheduled, alarm triggering, manual different video recording modes, no cloud storage subscription. Recording on TF card, you can access the video files through the “CoT Pro” App and CMSClient software. This product is suitable for indoor only, if you are looking for an outdoor camera, you can select our D1400. It’s powered by the included AC/DC adapter (USB port, 5V DC 2.0A), including 8 feet cord, it doesn’t use the battery, so you don’t need to replace the battery regularly. We highly recommend you to modify the password on initial use. A strong password can protect the camera from unauthorized accessing.

Adopting the 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor and the high-performance FHD video processor, this camera can deliver Full HD 1080p video at 25 frames per second. It adopts the latest H.264/AVC video compression standard, it can provide smooth, low bitrate, self-adaptive frame rate video under different network condition. Full HD, that’s two times higher resolution than 720p. A 1080p camera can provide higher image quality, plus a broader viewing angle.

D1201-AE has built-in microphone and speaker, in addition to offering 2-way audio intercom functionality. The camera can support sound detection by using the internal microphone. Meanwhile the speaker can be used as an alarm siren. Furthermore, the camera can work with up to 64 wireless security sensors, such as wireless door/window sensors, wireless PIR motion sensors, wireless vibration sensors etc. Most importantly, you can use the smartphone or a remote control to active and de-active the alarm detection. Once the break-ins happen, the camera will set off the alarm, users will receive the real-time push notification, also email with snapshots. As usual, D1201-AE also supports video-based motion detection, but we don’t recommend you to turn it on because of the high false alarm rate.

This camera is not weatherproof, if you are looking for outdoor WiFi cameras, you can choose the D1400. However, it only supports 720p HD resolution.

1. Check if there is any motion happens at that time.
2. Try to reset the camera.
3. Disable the motion detection.
4. Disable sound detection.

Hi,
I'm very interested on buying the D1201 B kit that comes with an IP camera. I do have another rather old IP camera and i need to update the ip address every time my router shuts off because we have a dynamic ip address. Does the same thing happens here your your products? Do they have a limit, such as a one year free server service or something like that? an last but not least, do you provide an iso / android app ? thank you so much for your time!

The eRobot camera adopts P2P technology, it doesn't require static IP address.
Additionally, it doesn't require DDNS and port forwarding setting for dynamic IP. The P2P service will be free forever.
The camera comes with CoT PRO smartphone App (iSO/Android).

I know the procedure to do it with the alarm G60 Ultimate but I can not apply the same procedure with the erobot

The erobot cameras don't have RF emitter built-in.
However, you can pair the wireless detectors to both erobot D1201-B and Diamond siren.

The camera IR LED is set to auto mode, the camera image has color or black and white depending on the light intensity and environment brightness, in the night time or low light condition when the surrounding environment is dark, the IR LED will be turned On and camera image will be black and white. In some special cases, for example, when you watch TV in a dark room (turn off the light), light and shade of the TV images can cause the camera switches from “black and white” mode to “color” mode then switch back to “black and white” mode

Very pleased with these cameras! I only wish on playback you could save individual files to your phone or tablet. Either way the pan and tilt is a great feature and the night vision is perfect for any room in the house.

Excellent camera. Very easy and fast wifi setup. Does not require direct router connection for set up.
In addition, when the power goes out it will come back up without having to reset or reconfigure.
Don't bother with the other off brand cameras. This is the best one out of 3 others I tried.
I'm going to buy additional camera. I highly recommend this one.

I installed the camera with the use of Ethernet cable plugged to the router. It worked great, but after I unplugged the cable , the camera turned to “offline” and I can’t use it in wireless mode. What can I do?

It may be issue with WiFi security access password and security mode for the security password. If you can see the settings in the camera while connected by Ethernet cable you can change these settings. Try using different modes WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK etc. You must use a mode compatible with your router setting but also must be one the camera can generate. Even though the camera may accept a setting of a mode it may fail to transmit correctly and you have to try a lower mode so if WPA2-PSK not working try setting router and camera to WPA-PSK for example
