What's the name of App?

Go to googleplay and App store, search "CoT Pro", this app is compatible with Android/iOS smartphones and tablets. For Windows OS computers, users can download/use CMSClient software. Furthermore, you can use other app such as "Yoosee".

What's maximum distance from router and your camera?

The camera adopts RTL8188 Wi-Fi module, it complies IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standard, the distance from router and camera mainly is determined by Wi-Fi signal. Typically, the Wi-Fi coverage is around 10 - 30 meters (with obstacles). Before install the camera, making sure the camera will be placed within Wi-Fi coverage area. Additionally, you can use a Wi-Fi booster/extender to expand Wi-Fi range if you wish to install it in a place where signal level is weak.

Can it work without Internet?

The camera can support standalone mode, users can directly connect camera's hotspot Wi-Fi, then running the app to watch the video, record video and tweak camera's settings. "Standalone mode" option will appear when using Yoosee app.

Can it work with iSpy, BlueIris, Milestone XProtect software?

All our smart cameras are compatible with ONVIF and RTSP protocols, they can work with the latest open source free video management software including iSpy, BlueIris, Milestone XProtect. Additionally, it also works with NAS system such as Synology surveillance station, Qnap NAS (Network Attached Storage).

Can I connect it with my existing NVR?

You can connect it to your existing NVR by using ONVIF protocol, the camera is compatible with ONVIF Profile S (version 2.4) specification, you can watch the video on NVR and even rotate it.

How do wireless sensors connect with it?

The camera has a 433MHz RF module built-in to receive wireless signals from sensors. The camera is able to work with a wide range of security sensors which may use PT2262, PT2264, HS2262, HS2264, LX2262, SC2262, SR2262, SM2262, CS5211, PT2260, HS2260, LX2260, EV1527, HS1527, PT2240, HS2240 chip.

Does it work with wireless siren?

No, this camera can not work with wireless siren, because it doesn't have a RF emitter module. However, it uses the speaker as the siren can make warning sound to deter intruders when alarm is triggered.

How to arm/disarm the camera?

You can arm/disarm the camera via smartphone App, or you can pair max. 8 remote controls with camera. The remote control has arm, disarm, privacy, SOS four buttons design.

Does it support motion detection recording?

Yes, the camera supports manual, 24 hours, schedule, motion detection/alarm event recording mode.

Can I zoom in or zoom out on video?

The camera support digital zoom function you can zoom in and out when you watch HD live video. It's equipped with a fixed 3.6mm lens, can not support optical zoom.

Can I plug the camera to a battery bank?

Yes, the camera requires DC5V 2Amp power supply, it has a microUSB jack, you can connect it with a battery bank.

How to watch video on my Macbook Air?

Currently, we have no specific software for Mac OS, but you can use the VLC or Quicktime player to play RTSP video stream, or you can download and use the free XM VMS software.
