How to welding security CCTV BNC connector ?

BNC connector is used for connection of coaxial cable, the full name is Bayonet Nut Connector, or British Navel Connector (possible reason is british navy firstly use this connector), or Bayonet Neill Conselman (invented by the people with name of Neil Conselman).

Firslty, we should know that there are two kinds of BNC connector; 50 Ohm BNC connector and 75 Ohm BNC connector.

Normally; Receiving signal use the 75 Ohm BNC connector; Transmit signal use the 50 Ohm BNC connector.

For CCTV security camera video communication is belong to previous one, so use the 75 Ohm BNC connector.  At the same specification of insulation diameter coaxial cable, the core copper diameter are different: 50 Ohm coaxial cable's diameter is bigger than 75 Ohm coaxial cable !
For the female 50 ohm core hole diameter is bigger than 75 ohms, 75 ohm's hole is smaller.
For the male 50 ohm core hole diameter is bigger than 75 ohms, 75 ohms' core hole is smaller.

If male and female connector impedance mismatch, except will increase the insertion power loss, also can cause poor contact (for example 50 Ohm female connector match 75 Ohm male connector),  or contact very tight (for example 75 Ohm female connector match 50 Ohm male connector).

That's one the reason why so many non-professionals don't know how to match the BNC connector.

There are many methods for welding BNC connector,  herein we introduce the compressed method.

Soldering Type Male BNC Connector

1. Stripping

Coaxial cable from outside and inner consist of protection rubber, woven copper shield (GND), inner dielectric insulator and copper core (Signal). Use knife to strip the outside proteciton rubber around 1.5cm, then strip the inner dielectric insulator 0.6cm, then it shows the copper core.
