Definitely, this power capacity can't provide efficient power supply to PoE compatible IP PTZ dome camera. For PoE IP PTZ dome camera, you need to use specific PoE switch which can deliver high power to allow PTZ camera working properly.
PoE connection for Non-PoE IP camera
Traditional IP camera doesn't support PoE, but user still can benefit the cost effective and flexibility of PoE technology through utilizing the PoE switch and PoE splitter.
The PoE splitter can split the power and data from Cat5 cable from PoE switch. In summary, the PoE splitter can allow user to install non-PoE devices (Non-PoE IP camera) without near to a power outplet. With help of the PoE splitter, the Non-PoE IP camera can take advantages from PoE network solution. The PoE splitter also can provide short circuit protection and offering reliable performance.
