Test 2 - Resolution
As we know, the panoramic view images are distorted, therefore we use the split view mode to test its resolution. Put the camera point to resolution testing card. Under 0 optical zoom, from testing we can see the horizontal resolution can reach up to 500 tvl, and vertical resolution can reach proximate 600TVL, but the edge resolution is a bit low, gray-scale can reach 10 level.
Test 3 - Real live view and network control
Put the camera point to outside complex environment, we can see its view angle is very wide, outdoor scene 360 degree can glance in one single camera, also the live-view is very smooth.
Testing its bit-rate control, set its parameters with 1.5MP/25fps/2Mbps, and 360 degree fish-eye viewing mode, the bit-rate is between 2.2-2.3Mbps; set its parameter 1.5MP/25fps/2Mbps, and one 360 degree fish-eye view, with extra three split views, the bit-rate is controlled among 4.7-6.0Mbps, 6MP/25fps/8Mbps four split views, the video streaming bit-rate is 5.7-6.6Mbps. Now using the stopwatch to measure its video delay time, the average delay time is 270ms.
BLC and Wide Dynamic Range tested
Put the strong light toward the ceiling mounted fish-eye camera, the background and overall images are unclear when BLC is turned off. After turned on BLC, the brightness improved.
Let's test its wide dynamic range feature, when it turned off, the scene shows a white glow, after enable WDR, the background is clean and doll near to strong light is still visible.
Wide Dynamic Range Feature
In the end, we are going to test its low illumination performance, close the curtains for the room, turn off all nights, the camera switches to night mode, IR illuminator automatically turned on for night vision, when illumination decreased to 0.15Lux, the monitoring scene turns to B/W mode, In panorama and split views, all images are clear and no IR-saturation effect.
Night Vision Mode
Certainly, this Panoramic camera has cons and pros. As one of new models, its software still need to be improved. The image signal processing capability should be enhanced in split view mode. After testing, we are satisfied with its Panoramic view, under the 360° panoramic view mode, user can drag the mouse to enlarge the images, then it splits into three split views, also can be with four split views, very flexible for monitoring, its preset cruise function is another highlight for this camera.
